Makeshift Hammer are a virtualy unknown four piece "hardcore pop" band from Devon in southwest England. Started in 2005 by Fill Ward (guitar/Vox) and Bim Williams (Bass) the lineup was very quickly completed by evil genius, Dave Dymond (Guitar) and less evil genius, Caragh Campbell (Drums). After two and a half years Bim was forced to leave the group due to comitments in other areas of the industry and was replaced by current bass player (former member of instrumental blues punk outfit "Those Three") Sam Way in the summer of 2007. Despite currently being in hidding due to both Dymond and Campbell deciding to further educate themselves they have recently recorded their first 8 track e.p. "Makeshift hammer, all over the flaw" which they are handling independently which is rumoured to be released in early 2010 by "The Makeshift Music Company"
