Stry (Anders Sjhöholm) was born the 15th juni, 1957 in Ängelholm. The first years of his life he lived in Skäralid, near Klippan. When he was 6 years old he and his family moved to Liberia in west Africa, hence his father worked for SIDA and had got a job there. When he became a teenager music became more important for him and in 1976 he formed his own punkband Kriminella Gitarrer after have seen the sex pistols which inspired him (though he didn't think they were that great but he liked the punkstyle). In 1978 Kriminella Gitarrer released their first legendary first swedish punksingle "Vårdad Klädsel". Except Kriminella Gitarrer (1978-1979), Stry have played in alot of other bands and projekts: Besökarna, 1979-1980 Blödarna, 1979 Stry & Stripparna, 1979-1981 Garbochock, 1980-1981 Mikael Hagström Combo, 1981 Ebba Grön, 1981-1982 Rymdimperiet, 1981-1983 Imperiet, 1983-1984 Babylon Blues, 1985-1989 Stry/Thåström, 1991 Wildsmoke, 2000 Stry/Florin, 2004 Stry/Birro, 2005 Stry (solo), 1987-
