Broken Transmission

Broken transmission is one of the more unique styles of vaporwave. It takes things such as television commercials, radio jingles and dialogue clips, fusing them with music and chops it up erratically to give the sense of a broken transmission. A cousin of hypnagogic drift but significantly more abrasive and at times discomforting. It is sometimes referred to as vapornoise, though not all releases can be considered as noise music.
