There Are Many Artists with the Name Cara 1. American singer-songwriter Cara Quici, now known as CARA, is returning to music after a hiatus. Previously CARA released several songs including 'Away from You, Jump Smokers Remix' and 'FIGHT', her official remake of the Beastie Boys' 'Fight for Your Right to Party'- which was licensed by SONY ATV and approved by The Beastie Boys and American record executive and producer Rick Rubin. CARA has opened up for artists Lil Jon, Mike Jones, Soulja Boy, and SOMO as well as a three time mainstage performer for California's annual Kushstock festival. Currently CARA is recording her album at Orb Recording Studios with an anticipated feature from the late Gangsta Boo of Three 6 Mafia. Throughout her album, CARA performs with her flute. The full LP is set to release in 2025 and is an autobiographical series of chapters that detail the raw and authentic stories of CARA's life- combining elements of multiple genres that are symbolic of her relationship with music. After a series of devastating losses, CARA uses musicianship as a tool to process grief and reclaim her experiences with lyricism that is catchy and melodic, while staying raw and honest. CARA dedicates her album to her brothers including her late brother Alex and mother Mary, and dear friend and mentor Lola, AKA Gangsta Boo. CARA hopes that through her music, listeners can feel solidarity with their own life chapters and lost loved ones to create a community of people who feel less alone in their journey of processing grief. 2. Jürgen Treyz (guitars) has his own concept of “backing”. His sound is characterised by well thought out and exciting harmonic and rhythmic accompaniment and beautiful solos. His playing inspires and lifts the Cara sound. With Rolf Wagels the band adds Germanys best (and biggest) Bodhrán player as a special guest if he‘s available. He has played in Germany, Ireland and the US with an ever growing impressive list of well-known musicians and bands.
