Mieke Stemerdink (born 10 December 1963) is a Dutch singer and performer, born in Doetinchem but based in Amsterdam. She became famous in The Netherlands as the blonde, bee-hived bombshell frontwoman of De Gigantjes, a band that enjoyed great success in The Netherlands with their energetic renditions of 1950s rhythm & blues material. The band released one studio album, a mini-LP, a live album and a handful of singles (mostly R&B cover versions). More than anything else, De Gigantjes were a hugely popular live-act in The Netherlands between 1985 and 2000, the year of the group's demise. After her years with De Gigantjes, Stemerdink emabarked on a solo career, started working with a big-band (Mieke Giga & The New Swing Show) and sang with several groups, including Girls Just Want To Have Fun, a Dutch all-female band with an evolving roster. September 2014 saw the long overdue release of Oh Liefde, an album of so-called 'smartlappen', a peculiar Dutch (and Dutch-language) blend of blues and ballads.
