MOYS is a norwegian rock band formed in 1993. Their music vary from experimental progressive rock to alternative rock. MOYS has recently composed music to go along with the author Ragnhild Jølsen's (1875-1908) texts on the album "Måneskinn og tåke" ("Moonlight and Mist") released in november 2009. With Norwegian norwegian lyrics and references to the 1970s progressive rock, they were a part of the experimental underground in Norway in the 1990s.

MOYS is a norwegian rock band formed in 1993. Their music vary from experimental progressive rock to alternative rock. MOYS has recently composed music to go along with the author Ragnhild Jølsen's (1875-1908) texts on the album "Måneskinn og tåke" ("Moonlight and Mist") released in november 2009. With Norwegian norwegian lyrics and references to the 1970s progressive rock, they were a part of the experimental underground in Norway in the 1990s. MOYS is inspired by bands like Tool, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden, but also Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd and King Crimson from the 1970s. Moods of the forests that surround their hometown Enebakk has also been cited as an important source of inspiration. Moys has since 1997 released four albums and done concerts in many parts of the country. Moys has played support for artists like CC Cowboys, Seigmen, Helloween, Locomotives and Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden. After a series of concerts during the winter 2009-2010 supporting their latest CD "Måneskinn og tåke" and the release of two singles: "Benløs" and "Sannhetens øyne", MOYS is now working on a new album.
