Social Fallout is a hard rock/progressive metal band from Green Bay, Wisconsin, that was originally formed in late 2005 from the remains of two other projects. In the years the band has been together there's been a fair amount of turbulence: from losing all their equipment in a fire; to a seemingly endless quest to fill the bassist position. After a cataclysmic shake up in the later half of 2008 and the spring of 2009 in which 3/5ths of the band was replaced, Social Fallout finds itself emerging from ashes and setting out to write and record. In mid 2009, Social Fallout entered the studio to record a self titled 5 song EP. They are currently planning on a full length effort in the near future. April of 2011, Dave Williams announces departure from the band due to health reasons. Long-time bassist, Brandon Daul, also bows out of the lineup. In May, 2011, drummer Dan Pennemberg joins, and brings in long-time friend and former bandmate Jesse Damro as bassist. January 2012: After playing with the band for 9 months, Dan leaves the band, and Dave Williams returns as drummer after a 9 month hiatus. The band is influenced by a wide variety of musical styles which is reflected in their unique writing style.
