On June 24th, 2025, the two band members renamed their band, and Sovurn was born. After much preparation, influence from bands such as Deftones and TOOL, plus collaboration with Eastern NC artist SAVFAE, Promise came out on August 18th, 2025, which led to Sovurn's rise to fame through much promotion on social media.
