Berlinska dróha is a post punk / folk duet from Berlin, established in 2007. The members, both of Sorbian origin, are Uta Schwede (piano/vocals) und Paul Geigerzähler (violin/vocals). The band’s name means as much as “Berlin street“. Their peculiar mixture including semi – acoustical (post) punk, folk, Sorbian traditional songs and sarcastic, provocative and political lyrics enfolds best performed live; their popularity as well as their operational area steadily grows.

In 2009, berlinska dróha recorded and released their debut EP, “zrudny koncak”. The lyrics grapple with problems of cultural identities, extreme right wing propaganda or the need of communication.
