Between 1993 and 2007 Bodycocktail has produced 135 thirty minute releases as well as playing rare live solo shows in their hometown of Louisville, Kentucky in addition to concerts in Bilbao & Madrid, Spain. Largely the solo project of Zan Hoffman, with all their releases on the ZH27 label, Bodycocktail sometimes uses the description "bent-out-of-shape proto new wave la la ooh" for thier works. Mostly guitar-free the instrumentation is varied but includes many keyboards, accordions, and occasional wind instruments, experimental noises, etc.
