Born on April 22nd, 1974 in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, Diego’s first band, Carpe Diem had made more than 400 concerts and was signed by the major record label Polygram. In 2000, Diego moved to NYC to study Music Business and to further his international career. Since then, he’s being producing and performing in many projects to promote peace and raise consciousness through music and culture like the September Concert Festival in NYC, the Peace Vigil Day in Central Park and the United Nations’ Peace Day. In 2003, he co-founded culturemachine.com, a youth development program that uses music and multimedia production to inspire young people to live healthy lives and become agents of change in their communities. Diego is now writing his first novel entitled “The Spiritual Rock Star “ that tells the story of a music icon who found spiritual enlightenment and bought his soul back.
