OnLoad was formed in 2003 by synthpop duo Andreas Rimheden and Marie Hagelqvist who were influenced by the electroclash movement of that time, including bands like Fischerspooner and Client. They decided to create some happy electronic pop tunes without any meaning or depth, just shallow, plastic entertainment. The resulting demo was played at many electronic clubs, mainly in the USA, and the band had a few live gigs in their home country Sweden, but decided to put this project on hold in 2005.

In 2011 Andreas remixed their original songs and started working on a proper album release, which is long over due.
