Porterhouse is comprised of songwriters Finnur Bjarki, Hilmar Tryggvi and Þorbjörg Tryggva, who come from the small town of Hvolsvöllur, next town to the famous Eyjafjallajökull volcano. The album is designed to enhance the listening experience via lyrics and paintings inside the book - artist Sigrún Jónsdóttir from Ásvellir has illustrated each song with a painting inspired by the album's music and lyrics. The Spinal Chord project is a tribute to the fight of Spinal Cord Injury awareness world wide.
