the high queens is an Pop/Rock/indie act from Hanover, Germany. Well known and popular at the local club scene, these brit rock-influenced musicians have released a short EP, called 'Lion', in 2006. In May 2007, their first full-length album 'Ten Knives' was released. In April 2010, they celebrated and presented their new Album 'The Urban Songbook', which points in a more song and Pop- oriented direction. It wil be officially released on Day Glo Records on July 23rd.
