Bitpunk (also known as chip punk) is a subgenre of bitcore that combines chiptune with punk rock, often synthpunk or pop punk. It can be considered either related to or a subgenre of synthpunk and sometimes overlaps with indie chiptune. Artists include Math the Band, Louser, Fucking Werewolf Asso, I Fight Dragons and more. The first bitpunk release was Robots Will Rise by Math the Band.
