Fantasizer is a hybrid musical cyber experience out of Los Angeles brought to you by Chorbus (drums/programming/producing), Daramulin Shrine (lyrics/vocals) and a revolving cast of otherwordly musicians to complete the sonic soundscape. Heavy, sexy, aggressive and intense with gothic undertones and a trip hop groove, Fantasizer is dark, vicious and delicious. Rarely do you hear this type of high octane voltage with a female front person. Along with thundering drums, haunting melodies and ferocious guitars, it stands apart from all the other metal out there today. A life long musician and graduate of the University of North Texas, Chorbus came up through the ranks of the Dallas underground scene, playing in popular bands Caulk, Loveswing, and Q and the Black Martin. After relocating out West, his interest turned more towards producing and programming. He began composing catalogs of tribal, atmospheric beats that became the basis for the Fantasizer sound. Daramulin Shrine's theatre background informs her singing, enabling her to slip seamlessly into character, creating striking emotions from evil to ethereal. She cut her teeth as a performing artist on NYC's stages, as a founding member of "The Drama Queens", portraying her original character "Sugar Shock Rose". After moving to LA she sang in the horror punk band "Professor Mojo" and hosted the internet radio show 'The World Between" before being hypnotized and inspired by Chorbus' beats. Together the two formed Fantasizer in 2007. "Romance with the Darkness", their debut release, is the culmination of three years of intensity, passion and undeniable chemistry.
