Eric Ortiz Boglio was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Puerto Rico in the mid 80's. He learned to play guitar at the age of 13 and the bass by the age of 18. His first band was called “Feka". Had several projects in 2000, but nothing serious. In 2003 he co-founded the band Neuttro and recorded and co-produced the band’s debut album. The album sold in stores around Puerto Rico and some parts of the United States. Neuttro received regular radio air play on stations like “Alpha Rock” (105.7 FM) and was selected as one of the top 10 bands of the year by “La X” (103.7 FM) in 2004. By playing on big local venues with Neuttro, Eric became real confident on stage. Depression and a serious drug addiction made him retire from the band "Neuttro" in 2007. After almost losing his life to a drug overdose he became a follower of Christ. Unable to stop making music, he started recording his own music at home. Later on he discovered that he had created something totally different, marking his own territory in music. He took his new discovery very seriously. After a lot of hard work and several gas masks later, he changed his side-project from "Eric Ortiz" to his primary solo project, which he called "Cirex". Cirex upcoming debut album titled "The Lab" is coming out on April 30th 2009, with the plan of spreading his music around the world through the internet on I-Tunes, Amazon, Napster & Rhapsody.
