Electric Maid is a DIY electronic duo with roots in trip hop, electro, experimental and classical music. Both music school grads, vocalist and keyboardist Natalie Chami and keyboardist/vocalist/programmer Alex Rowney create a signature sound all their own with airy vocals that swirl about over experimental synthetic textures and heavy pumping electronic drums, all soaked in computer effects. Influences of EM include Björk, Portishead, Radiohead and Aphex Twin.
