Hayloft is an indie-rock band with punk/emo influence from London, UK. Although both band members come from different musical backgrounds, they have managed to create a sound that is undeniably their own. Hayloft is an indie-rock band with punk/emo influence from London, UK. Although both band members come from different musical backgrounds, they have managed to create a sound that is undeniably their own. History: They were formed out of the ashes of Imodium in February 2009 and since then have been recording and touring relentlessly. Influences: Sami: Jimmy Eat World, Manchester Orchestra, Bruce Springsteen, All Get Out. Ashley: Underoath, Manchester Orchestra, Say Anything. Genre: Although they fall under the indie-rock umbrella, over the past year they have developed a sound that cant really be defined by one genre. When asked "What how do describe you sound?" They simply reply "Music, that's all it is." Associated acts: Hayloft have collaborated with and have shared the stage with a diverse range of acts, most notably American punk-pop band Brookside, alt-rock band Flags and Danny Roulette.
