Brothers and musical collaborators Wayne Hurry and Rob Hurry head the charge of progressive rock outfit HURRY HURRY. Often recruiting the talents of guest artists, the foundation of Wayne and Rob's influence powers through in their albums. Classically trained, film composers with 8 feature films to their credit (see IMDB), the two let their hair down between film projects and produce some powerful progressive experiences. The debut album LIFE available on iTunes (and many other outlets) was released in 2010 by French independent prog rock label Musea Parallel` The album is a bold experiment from Hurry Hurry which is a narrated, instrumental, concept album in the vein of Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds or Rick Wakeman's Journey to the Center of the Earth. LIFE uses elements of Progressive rock, electronic music and symphonic rock, and takes us on a musical journey through the story of life on our planet. From the formation of the virgin planet right through to the rise of Mankind, this concept album rises and falls to the pulse of Evolution. All music composed and played by film composers Rob HURRY and Wayne HURRY, and featuring beautiful narration by the voice of "Mother Earth" (Marilyn THOMAS). At times cinematic at times gentle with occasional guitar this album tells the story of LIFE itself on our planet. In stark contrast to LIFE, the soon to be released album LIFE AFTER LIFE available so far only in sneak peaks on the bands social media sites is a much darker, heavier side to the outfit. What is immediately obvious is their departure from the electronic based LIFE into this more organic, and very progressive band style. The other development is singers and songs as well as 4 thunderous instrumentals. The brothers Rob Hurry and Wayne Hurry this time have recruited the talents of three rock singers (Lo Roberts, Mick Fernandez and Kate Oakley) along with their long time friend and drummer (Morri Digrazia). The signature epic nature of their style and use of symphonic orchestral arrangements build a huge spectrum of dynamics and sound. Thunderous almost metal guitar and drums however interweave complex rhythms and powerful melodies and adds the final element of what is a powerful well crafted album. A 2014 release is anticipated
