From early childhood, the Illyance Family has been forming, consisting of individuals growing up in the Brampton, Ontario area (T.Dot). All first generation Canadians, whose parents came from different countries around the globe (Ghana, Croatia, and Jamaica). The Illyance movement consists of many members, although the groups front artist are, Skinny P, Change, Fedjah, and Specialist. They have all known each other since attending the same elementary school in "B-Town."

The Illyance movement consists of many members, although the groups front artist are, Skinny P, Change, Fedjah, and Specialist. They have all known each other since attending the same elementary school in "B-Town." Growing up, these front have always connected like brothers, so it only made sense in 2009 to unite and make music together. Illyance is a collaboration of artists who are real people, speaking real experiences. Motivated to make a strong presence and impact in the music world, Illyance is determined to be one of the groups that brings Hip-Hop music back Alive!
