Born in 1988, he took up piano lessons at 10 years old, then quit at age eleven and taught himself how to play while he was in high school. His musical style is a culmination of random events noting heavy influences from Bobby Darin, Muse, and Jack White. Although he is a multi-instrumentalist, Michael uses keyboards to create many sounds in his songs. The music is recorded in his mothers old art studio which they both converted into a recording area. He also prefers there not be an awful lot of technology involved in his music, and to reflect that he records all instruments and vocals on the 1999 version of Adobe Audition. He's been writing music since the age of 16 when his first song "Believe In the Height" was written. Michael owes all musical appreciation to his choir instructor Jeb Mueller.
