Mori Calliope (森カリオペ) is a soul-reaping Virtual Youtuber. Although she is the Grim Reaper's First apprentice, she is also a rapper, streamer, and lyricist. Calliope debuted on September 12th, 2020 as a member of Hololive English -Myth-, the first generation of the company's English branch. Her fellow members included Ninomae Ina'nis, Takanashi Kiara, Watson Amelia, and Gawr Gura. Calliope officially signed to parent group Universal Music Group in 2023 under their EMI Records subsidiary.

Despite being a sweet-voiced girl with a gentle personality, Mori tends to talk about morbid topics with little hesitation. Her favorite color is red, she enjoys sweets and reaping souls, and she likes watching mafia movies and drinking red wine. Her fans are referred to as “Deadbeats”, who are the namesake of her first EP album. Early Career: 2020-2021 After her initial debut, Calliope released her first Extended Play album, DEAD BEATS on October 20th, 2020. It released with four tracks available on all major streaming platforms. By the end of 2020, all of the tracks on her initial EP had reached 1 million views or more, with Track page: Excuse My Rudeness, But Could You Please RIP? reaching over 10 million views. Her momentum followed into 2021, where she reached a 1,000,000 Subscriber milestone before the end of January. Her single, Off With Their Heads, was released on February 2nd, 2021. By February 3rd it had over one million views. On April 4th, 2021 her second EP, Your Mori. was released. She went on to release multiple cover and original songs outside of this, including Roki, Envy Baby, and end of a life. On December 9th she was able to hold her first ever VR concert online using the HoloEN VR Studio. Signing With Universal Music Group: 2022 Q was released on February 6th, 2022. The song was a collaboration with her genmate, Gawr Gura. The following month, on March 21st, 2022, Mori Calliope released her first full length studio Album, UnAlive. It included Q, as well as Calliope's collab single with BOOGEY VOXX: Graveyard Shift which was originally released on December 10, 2021. On April 4th, Mori Calliope announced that she was signing with Universal Music Group during a birthday concert livestream on Youtube. On July 21st she held her first solo concert debut titled "New Underworld Order" at Toyosu PIT. On December 16th, she released her first major album under UMG titled Sinderella.
