ZEROBASEONE (Korean: 제로베이스원; initialized as ZB1) is a South Korean boy group under WAKEONE Entertainment, formed through Mnet's 2023 reality competition show BOYS PLANET. The group is composed of five members: Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae and Park Gunwook. Originally a nine-piece ensemble, former members Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin and Han Yujin departed from the group in March 2026. They debuted on July 10, 2023 with the track "In Bloom" from their debut extended play, YOUTH IN THE SHADE. The group released their second extended play, MELTING POINT, on November 6, 2023, with "CRUSH" (Korean: 가시) serving as the lead single. The title track was released on November 20, 2023 as the EP's second and final single. On March 8, 2024, the group digitally released their debut Japanese single "ゆらゆら -運命の花-" (lit. YURA YURA -Flower of Fate-) alongside its music video. The physical release, which includes the Japanese-language versions of the group's first two singles, was released on March 20, 2024. On April 24, 2024, the group released "SWEAT" alongside its music video as the lead single of their third extended play, You had me at HELLO, making it their first digital single release (second overall). "Feel the POP" was released on May 13, 2024 alongside the EP and its music video as the second and final single. The Japanese-language version of the track was released on May 17, 2024 as the group's second Japanese digital single (third overall). The group made their comeback on August 26, 2024 with the release of their fourth extended play, CINEMA PARADISE, alongside the lead single and its music video, "GOOD SO BAD." The Japanese-language version of the track was released on August 30, 2024 as the group's third Japanese digital single (fourth overall). On September 8, 2024, the group released "Reaching for you" (Korean: 내일의 너에게 닿기를) from the soundtrack of the 2024 South Korean romantic comedy series Love Next Door (Korean: 엄마친구아들). It marks the third single off the series' soundtrack and the group's second digital single (fifth overall). On October 11, 2024, the group released "Only One Story" from the 2023 Japanese animated series Pokémon Horizons as its fourth opening theme, marking it as the group's fourth Japanese digital single (sixth overall). It would later be included as part of their debut Japanese-language extended play, PREZENT. The Korean-language version of the track was released on April 15, 2025, making it the group's fifth digital single release (eleventh overall). On November 26, 2024, the group released "Checkmate" as the sixth single from Mnet's 2024 reality dance competition, Stage Fighter. It marks the group's third digital single (seventh overall). Following the release of the Japanese-language versions of Feel the POP & GOOD SO BAD and Only One Story, the group released "NOW OR NEVER" on January 15, 2025 alongside its music video as the fourth single from the group's debut Japanese-language extended play, PREZENT. It marks the group's fifth Japanese digital single (eighth overall). PREZENT was released on January 29, 2025. On January 20, 2025, the group released "Doctor! Doctor!" alongside its music video as the lead single of their fifth extended play, BLUE PARADISE. It marks the group's fourth digital single (ninth overall). "BLUE" was released on February 24, 2025 alongside its music video and the EP as its second and final single. The Japanese-language version of the track was released on March 21, 2025 as the group's sixth Japanese digital single (tenth overall). On June 24, 2025, the group released "D-DAY" from the 2025 South Korean romantic fantasy series Head over Heels (Korean: 견우와 선녀) as the first single off the series' soundtrack, and the group's sixth digital single (twelfth overall). On July 23, 2025, the group released "SLAM DUNK" alongside its music video as the lead single of their debut studio album, NEVER SAY NEVER. It marks the group's seventh digital single release (thirteenth overall). "ICONIK" was released on September 1, 2025 alongside its music video and the album as its second and final single. The Japanese-language version of the track was released on October 24, 2025. It marks the group's seventh Japanese digital single (fourteenth overall). The physical release was released on October 29, 2025, and includes the Japanese-language versions of BLUE and SLAM DUNK. It marks the group's second Japanese single release. On January 9, 2026, the group released "Running to Future" alongside its music video as the lead single of their first single album RE-FLOW (third overall). It marks their eighth digital single (fifteenth overall). It was followed by the release of "ROSES" alongside its music video on January 23, 2026 as the second single from the album, and as the group's ninth digital single (sixteenth overall). "LOVEPOCALYPSE" was released as the third and final single alongside its music video and RE-FLOW on February 2, 2026. It marks the group's final release as a nine-member ensemble, with members Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin and Han Yujin departing from the group in March 2026.
