Rawk cums frum geetars. Kewl. (a purposeful misspelling of 'rock', often used ironically or even as a derogatory term to describe bands who play the basic guitar/drums/bass in the standard verse-chorus-verse-guitar solo-chorus formula to play basic, standard "rock and roll".). It is onomatopoeic in nature - imagine someone flashing the devil horns with a can of cheap beer in the other hand and saying, in a Midwestern U.S.A. accent, "rawk and roll, mannnn!".
