Black Spring Rising are a 3-piece all female rock band, namely Trish Black - vocals/guitar, Jan Black - bass/keyboards/backing vocals, Lisa Steadman - drums. The band saw many line up changes initially, but the same members have been together since summer 2010. Based in Southend-on-Sea in Essex, UK, the band's long awaited eponymously-titled first album was released in February 2011 on Indie label Cauldron Soundwerx, US.
