Hush is a band that got together in June 2008 and has been playing since. Their music can be categorized as being part of the alternative metal, post-2000 musical wave. A rather radio-friendly band, Hush had a song present in the CityFM Romtop for several months and another song is in heavy rotation in Italy, in Radio Blitz’s playlist. Hush implies a blend of heavily distorted guitar sounds and softer keyboard and acoustic melodies. The young musicians draw their energy from the contemporary alternative rock and the mastering of sound and rhythm from their studies in classical music. They appeal mostly to teens and young adults, but attract also the interest of reputed musicians. One such veteran said that their music is "the best music written and played of all junior bands
