Michael currently writes his own compositions alongside arrangements of traditional folk songs and has performed with Nina Nastasia, Charlie Parr, Martin and Eliza Carthy, Wildbirds & Peacedrums, Peter Broderick, Songs of the Green Pheasant and Josh Ritter to name but a few. He has collaborated with the likes Benjamin Wetherill, Fran Rodgers, Paul Marshall, Serious Sam Barrett and David Broad since living in the north of England. In 2008 he released My Dearest Dear on his own label Folk Theatre.
