Red Mcfly aka The Rising Sun was born & spent his early childhood living all over parts of New Jersey & Pennsylvania. Red was a diehard hip hop fanatic listening to everybody from 2pac, Wu Tang Clan. Pete Rock, & Kanye West. Those influences soon played a part in helping him develop his own craft as Red started writing his own raps, making his own beats, & becoming an "Unsung Legend" in his own right. Those influences soon played a part in helping him develop his own craft as Red started writing his own raps, making his own beats, & becoming an "Unsung Legend" in his own right. Having meeting up with another local mc named Initial, their early beginnings led them to early demos, mixtapes, & albums releases(When The Mirror Breaks, titled under Dark Reflektion & In The Building Under B.T.W. Blood Thicker Then Water) win local talent shows & becoming the first of few rap acts to perform at Musikfest, a week long festival helmed in Bethlehem, Pa.. 2005 saw the re-emergence of Red not only as an artist & producer, but as an CEO as well, starting up Redlight Productions whiel keeping it in the family with his longtime friend Initial, brothers Army Gunz & Tsunami, cousins J-Sweetz & Loco P, & Bones. In 2007 Red released their first group album "Hood Ties" then later his solo album "Unsung Legend" to great raves & reviews, but he didn't stop there. He earned 5 Lehigh Valley nominations in 2008, emerged victorious in a double elimination beat battle, released another group album "Redlight Chronicles" & released 2 mixtapes, "Welcome 2 Redlight City Vol. 1" & " So Far So Close." which earned him 10 Lehigh Valley nominations in which he won 2 awards for "Best Hip hop Artist" and "Album Of The Year". Red has established himself as a force to be reckoned with, & to this day isn't afraid to take risks & show why Allentown, PA is indeed "Redlight City"
