This project Alex Elzer and Korine Varekamp started in June 2008 has influences of music styles such as downtempo (Massive Attack, Portishead), alternative rock (Velvet Underground), britpop (Morrissey) and new-wave (The Sound). The music of Silent Project Cooperation is dynamic. The vocals being monotonous and depressive and the lyrics profound and cynical make the music in its combination different, conflicting and timeless. Alex and Korine are responsible for the compositions and arrangements. Alex is dedicated to creating experimental (rock)music and Korine started the experimental “After Silence Project” in 2001 after being a singer in a rock band for several years. All came together in a new project: SILENT PROJECT COOPERATION. “Did You Get What You Came Here For” and “The Omen” will be two of the songs coming out on our debut album DARK MOMENTS, which we do hope to present at the beginning of 2010.
