Mestizo

Mestizo is a modern fusion of traditional latinamerican and iberican rhythms as rumba, cumbia, salsa and flamenco with influences of punkrock, ska, rap, dub, reggae, dancehall, turntablism, sampling and other electronical stuff.

Concerning as well global as specific local relevances the lyrics are very often political and against all kinds of repression.

The often multiethnical consistence of the groups or the different migrational backgrounds of their members coheres with their mostly anti-racist, anti-conservative, pacifistic and anti-globalistic attitutes.

But above all Mestizo is very danceable!
