Psyche

"Psyche" as a music term is most often actually a misspelling of "psych", a common abbreviated form of "psych-rock," "psychedelic," or "psychedelic rock." "Psyche," of course, has its own separate meanings (in both psychology and Roman mythology), as well as a two-syllable pronunciation.
