http://www.myspace.com/allendulles There’s a historical myth that once upon a time, during the Cold war era Allen Welsh Dulles - the first civilian and the longest serving (1953–61) CIA Director created a so called “Dulles’ Plan“. The Dulles' plan is the central secret document of a conspiracy theory, according to which Allen Dulles had developed a plan for United States to destroy the Soviet Union during the Cold war by secretly corrupting the cultural heritage and moral values of the Soviet man. The plan was first published in Russia shortly after the Dissolution of the USSR and was often quoted by prominent Russian politicians, journalists and writers. That is a myth. But when three good ole Moscow boys and “mythprovers” were choosing a name for their band and one of the band mates and his dad simultaneously remembered that myth – no questions were asked. The band’s name was found. "AllenDulles" – the name with a rich background. All thanks to the “Dulles’ plan” the infiltration of the best British and American music became available to Russia. And finally did a good job in the development of Russian-American relationships. So the boys were lucky enough to name their band after that US Patriot – Allen Dulles! The band was formed in Moscow, Russia in 2008, by three friends and musicians all born in Moscow: Artem Akmulin – Vocals, Backing Vocals Rod Youdanov – Guitars, Keyboards Alex Borodavkin – Bass All three were raised on some best pieces of classic rock ,blues and country music but each has gone through a quite a long transition playing different music, covers with different bands finally ending up together doing what they feel sounds right, cool and honest. Music that hopefully will bring people and different music styles closer. "AllenDulles" – is strong union of three different creative characters, musicians and friends with their own music vision and taste which spawns from country & bluegrass to some hard/heavy rock and even jazz. And please don’t forget to add a healthy portion of the Russian soul! In 2008 the boys successfully played some gigs around Moscow. On 09.09.09. Artem, Rod & Alex released their first promo album “From Russia With Love” which you’re holding right now. Some friendly musicians and artists from Sweden and the United Kingdom took part in the creation of that product which just goes to show that the “Dulles’ plan” works and connects people from all over the world.
