EXID Is A Five-Member South Korean Girl Group Under Sony Music Korea. The Group Consists Of Solji LE Hani Hyerin And Jeonghwa. Their Name Is Short For "Exceed In Dreaming". They Made Their Official Debut On February 16 2012 With Their Single HOLLA Promoting The Title Track "Whoz That Girl". The Group Originally Debuted With Six Members But Three Members Yuzi Dami And Haeryung Decided To Leave The Group Two Months After The Group's Debut And Were Replaced By Two New Members Hyerin And Solji. Later The Members Who Left Re-Debuted In BESTie Under YNB Entertainment. On August 24 2014 EXID Held Their Comeback Showcase At The Ilchi Art Hall Performing Their New Song "위아래 Up & Down ". The Song Was Released On August 27 And Initially Charted Poorly Failing To Make It On The Top 100 On The Gaon Chart Though It Peaked At Number 94 On The Domestic Chart. However The Song Slowly Gained Popularity In Late November After A Fan-Cam Of Member Hani Performing The Song Went Viral On Korean Social Networking Websites. This Lead To The Song Shooting Back Up On The Music Charts Eventually Climbing Up Into The Top 10 On The Real-Time Charts And Topping The Gaon Chart.

"Hot Pink" Is The Fourth Digital Single By EXID. It Was Released On November 18 2015. It Was Later Featured On Their First Studio Album Street In A Remixed Version. A Promotional CD Was Made Available Through A Special Event Only.
The Original Intro Of The Song Included Two Lines From LE Rapping "can You Handle This?". It Can Be Heard On Their "random Play Dance" Game On Episode 226 Of Weekly Idol As Well As In A "Next Week" Teaser From Music Bank. The Promo Single For "Hot Pink" Sent To Broadcast Stations Also Features These Two Lines In The Lyrics Printed On The Back Of The Record. The Change In The Lyrics Seem To Have Been Made Very Shortly Before The Release Of The Final Song. The Reason For This Change Is Still Unknown But Due To A Strong Similarity To The Intro From Destiny's Child's Song "Bootylicious" It Is Rumored To Have Been Made To Avoid Any Accusation Of Plagiarism.
